Pangea Day is a global event bringing the world together through film.

What is Pangea Day? Learn more > and don't miss the interactive map of worldwide event hosts where you can attend a local viewing > or host one here >

You can also watch at a digital cinema > or on tv > Pangea Day is on Saturday, May 10th (11am-3pm US West Coast, 2-6pm US East Coast, 7-11pm in UK, 8pm-midnight in Europe and much of Africa, 9pm-1am in the Mideast, 11.30pm-3.30am India, etc.).

In 2006, filmmaker Jehane Noujaim won the TED Prize, an annual award granted at the TED Conference. She was granted $100,000, and a wish to change the world. Her wish was to create a day in which the world came together through film. Pangea Day grew out of that wish. I like this video of her acceptance speech about the inspiration behind Pangea Day: Jehane Noujaim's TED Wish

The DMI Conference Experience

This video from last year's conference in VT will give you insight of what to expect at a DMI Conference -- described as a thirty yr old conference where design managers and business leaders assemble to participate in setting the agenda for the future.

Another interesting event this past summer, 2007 DMI Design and Design Management Performance Series: The 19th International Brand Design Conference, "Brand, Design, and Business–the Integration Imperative".
